Hurricane Claims
FLORIDA LICENSED PUBLIC INSURANCE ADJUSTERHelping Florida property owners document storm damage and understand their insurance claims.
AFTER THE STORM
Hurricane damage isn't always obvious right away.
High winds and heavy rain can affect more than one area of a property. Roof damage, water intrusion, exterior damage, and interior staining may appear at different times after a storm. Careful documentation can help establish the condition of the property and provide important information for your insurance claim.
- MRoof damage that may not be visible from the ground
- MWater intrusion that appears after the storm has passed
- MDamage to exterior components, fencing, or other structures
- MInterior staining or moisture that may indicate additional damage

Common Questions
Hurricane Claims FAQ
Do you handle afternoon thunderstorm damage?
Yes. Florida property damage isn’t limited to named hurricanes. Severe thunderstorms can cause roof damage, wind-driven rain, water intrusion, and exterior damage. A Florida Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster can inspect the damage, document the loss, and help you through the insurance claim process.
What if my claim was already denied as pre-existing?
A denial doesn’t necessarily mean the claim is over. A Florida Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster can review the denial, policy, photos, estimates, and available documentation to determine whether additional damage or information should be presented to the insurance company.
Should I tarp my roof before calling you?
If it’s safe to do so, take reasonable steps to protect the property from further damage, such as arranging for temporary tarping when needed. Take photos or video before and after temporary repairs, save your receipts, and avoid permanent repairs until the damage has been properly documented.
